Cristina Todesco is a theatrical set designer based in Boston. Incorporating her fine arts background in painting, sculpture, printmaking, and art history with a background in production, Cristina brings a sophisticated and fresh visual aesthetic to her designs creating bold, creative and sculptural spaces; all of which support and allow the story to live and breathe on stage. On stage, her work has been seen at Actor's Shakespeare Project, ART Institute, Boston Playwrights, Boston College, Boston Conservatory, Boston’s Symphony Hall and Tanglewood with the BSO, Boston University, Company One, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Gloucester Stage, Harbor Stage, Harvard University, Huntington Theatre Company, Israeli Stage, Merrimack Repertory Theater, New Repertory Theater, Olney Theater Center, Orfeo Group, Poet's Theater, Speakeasy Stage Company, Stoneham Theater, Suffolk University, Summer Play Festival, Trinity Rep, Wheelock Family Theater, Williamstown Theater Festival, among others.  For Outstanding Design, she is the recipient of four Elliot Norton Awards for The Clean House (New Rep), Twelfth Night (ASP), The Aliens and The Flick (Company One), an IRNE Award for appropriate(Speakeasy) and the Lois Roach Award for outstanding commitment to the Boston theatre community.
